Studio One MIDI Generator — Free Online

MIDI Maker is a free online MIDI generator that rolls full arrangements — melody, chords, bassline and drums — as standard MIDI that imports cleanly into Studio One. Generate in the browser, then swap the parts onto your own instruments and edit everything in the Music Editor.

How to use the MIDI in Studio One

1. Generate a track in the MIDI Maker studio and download it as a .mid file.
2. In Studio One, drag the .mid file into an empty area of the Arrange view, or use Song → Import File.
3. Studio One asks whether to import the file’s tempo — accept it so the song matches the BPM the arrangement was generated at.
4. Each part arrives on its own instrument track with no sound loaded: drag an instrument from the Browser onto each one, e.g. Mai Tai for the pitched parts and Impact XT with a GM kit for the drum track.
5. Double-click any part to open the Music Editor, then use Action → Chord Track or the Note FX to extend the generated material.

Stream MIDI live into Studio One

You can also skip the file: Live MIDI Out (Chrome/Edge) streams the generator’s notes and clock to a virtual port that Studio One reads as an external keyboard, so a record-armed instrument track captures the performance as it generates.
