Mirage is one of MIDI Maker’s experimental palettes — the kit is dust, grain and a void kick that keep no clock. It plays the loosest pitched pocket in the catalogue: onsets drift off the grid like heat shimmer, and with nothing ticking there is no clock to be late against.
What to listen for: A slow, glassy melody over blurred chords that melt into one another, with timing that wavers like heat haze over a road.
Mirage is included with the Pro and Studio plans; the free plan covers five genres. See pricing.
How the engine writes mirage
Two lush pad voices melt into each other half a bar apart, every chord carrying ninths and elevenths, while one slow glassy line moves in small steps and occasionally lifts a whole octave like a false horizon. The kit dissolves with the rest — its onsets blur the same way.
From a roll to your DAW
A roll defaults to 66 BPM (every preset and tempo is editable before and after generating) and plays back in the browser through the studio's own synths. When you like a take, export it as whole-track or per-instrument MIDI, or as WAV/MP3 audio — the drum part uses General MIDI numbering, so it lands correctly on any drum plugin. There are step-by-step import guides for Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic Pro.
