Common questions
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Subscriptions are billed through PayPal and you can cancel whenever you like from your account page. You keep access until the end of the billing period.
What do I get for free?
5 track generations per day, 1 export per day, 5 genres and 4/4 time — enough to generate and hear complete arrangements in your browser before deciding to upgrade.
Can I use the music commercially?
Everything you generate is royalty-free. Free and Pro output is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. The Studio plan includes a commercial use licence for releases, games, videos and client work.
Do I need to install anything?
No. MIDI Maker runs entirely in the browser — synthesis, editing and MIDI, WAV and MP3 export all work without a download or install.
Can I edit the notes MIDI Maker generates?
Yes — with Pro or Studio you can commit any clip to notes. That freezes the take you just heard into real, editable notes and opens them in the piano roll, where you can move, resize, add and delete them. Committed clips play back exactly what you see, export to MIDI note-for-note, and can be reverted to generative playback at any time.
Can I stream MIDI live into my DAW?
Yes — live MIDI out is included with Pro and Studio. While a track plays, MIDI Maker streams the notes straight into Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, GarageBand or a hardware synth, with each instrument on its own MIDI channel. MIDI clock is sent too, so Ableton, FL Studio and hardware can lock their transport to MIDI Maker. It needs Chrome or Edge, which support the Web MIDI API.
When do the free limits reset?
Generation limits and the free export allowance both reset every day, at midnight local time.
