Pop is one of the engine’s home genres: two melody voices chasing a hook, bright chords, and a tight modern kit at 116 BPM.
Pop is included in the free plan — no card, no install. See pricing.
How the engine writes pop
The arrangement logic works hardest here — verses drop instruments out, choruses bring everyone back, and the energy arc reads like a radio edit. Pop is on the free plan, so it is a good first genre to roll.
From a roll to your DAW
A roll defaults to 116 BPM (every preset and tempo is editable before and after generating) and plays back in the browser through the studio's own synths. When you like a take, export it as whole-track or per-instrument MIDI, or as WAV/MP3 audio — the drum part uses General MIDI numbering, so it lands correctly on any drum plugin. There are step-by-step import guides for Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic Pro.
