FL Studio MIDI Generator — Free Online

Free FL Studio MIDI generator — create complete MIDI arrangements (melody, chords, bass, drums) in your browser and import them into FL Studio. No sign-up.

The MIDI Maker studio generating a full arrangement

The generator lives in the studio — roll full arrangements, edit every note, export MIDI, WAV or MP3.

MIDI Maker is a free online MIDI generator that rolls full arrangements — melody, chords, bassline, and drums — as standard MIDI that imports cleanly into FL Studio. Generate in the browser, then swap the parts onto your own plugins and edit everything in the piano roll.

How to use the MIDI in FL Studio

  1. Generate a track in the MIDI Maker studio and download it as a .mid file.
  2. In FL Studio, choose File → Import → MIDI file (or drag the .mid onto the Playlist).
  3. In the import dialog, keep "Create one channel per track" enabled so the melody, chords, bass, and drum parts land on separate channels instead of being merged.
  4. Each part arrives as a MIDI Out channel in the Channel Rack — replace it with an instrument by loading FLEX, Sytrus, or a VST on that channel, and FPC for the drum part (the file uses General MIDI drum numbers).
  5. Open the piano roll on any pattern to edit the notes, then arrange the patterns in the Playlist.

Stream MIDI live into FL Studio

You can also skip the file entirely: Live MIDI Out (Chrome/Edge) streams the generator's notes and clock to a virtual port like loopMIDI, which FL Studio sees as a normal MIDI input. The full setup — ports, clock sync, hardware — is covered in the MIDI Out docs and the live MIDI sequencer guide. See the Live MIDI Out docs and the guide to using MIDI Maker as a live MIDI sequencer for the full walkthrough.

Frequently asked questions

Does the MIDI work with FL Studio's stock instruments?

Yes — it is a standard .mid file. The pitched parts play through FLEX, Sytrus, 3x Osc, or any plugin, and the drum part uses General MIDI drum numbers, which FPC and Drumaxx can map directly.

Can I stream MIDI live into FL Studio?

Yes — the studio's Live MIDI Out mode (Chrome or Edge) streams notes and MIDI clock to a virtual MIDI port such as loopMIDI. Enable that port as an input in FL Studio's MIDI settings and you can record the generator straight into the piano roll.

Is the generated MIDI royalty-free?

Yes — everything the generator writes is royalty-free with no attribution required. Free and Pro output is licensed for personal projects, and the Studio plan adds a commercial-use licence for releases, games, videos and client work.

Want full tracks, not just MIDI files?
