Techno MIDI Generator

Techno is one of the engine’s home genres, and its pitched parts are unusually groove-driven: bass and stabs lock to the same grid pull as the kit, which is what makes a roll hypnotic instead of static.

Techno is included in the free plan — no card, no install. See pricing.

How the engine writes techno

At 128 BPM the arrangement evolves by subtraction and return — percussion layers rotate, the bass mutates in place, and melody is used as punctuation. Techno is on the free plan, and its drum patterns have a dedicated tool page too.

From a roll to your DAW

A roll defaults to 128 BPM (every preset and tempo is editable before and after generating) and plays back in the browser through the studio's own synths. When you like a take, export it as whole-track or per-instrument MIDI, or as WAV/MP3 audio — the drum part uses General MIDI numbering, so it lands correctly on any drum plugin. There are step-by-step import guides for Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic Pro.
