Minimal strips the arrangement to essentials: one chord lane instead of two, a single melody used sparingly, and a groove at 130 BPM that changes by increments.
Minimal is included with the Pro and Studio plans; the free plan covers five genres. See pricing.
How the engine writes minimal
The engine’s section energy still rises and falls, but through small moves — a hat pattern opening up, a bass note shifting — rather than drops. It rewards letting a roll run long enough to hear the evolution.
From a roll to your DAW
A roll defaults to 130 BPM (every preset and tempo is editable before and after generating) and plays back in the browser through the studio's own synths. When you like a take, export it as whole-track or per-instrument MIDI, or as WAV/MP3 audio — the drum part uses General MIDI numbering, so it lands correctly on any drum plugin. There are step-by-step import guides for Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic Pro.
