Ambient MIDI Generator

Ambient is the one genre where MIDI Maker puts the drum lane away entirely. A track is drifting chords, a single unhurried melody, a bass that moves in long strides, and a dedicated atmosphere layer underneath it all.

Roll a ambient track

Ambient is included with the Pro and Studio plans; the free plan covers five genres. See pricing.

How the engine writes ambient

The engine leans on long note lengths, gentle harmonic motion and a generous send into the shared reverb, so sections evolve by texture rather than rhythm. Rolls at this tempo stay sparse on purpose — the space is the point.

From a roll to your DAW

A roll defaults to 90 BPM (every preset and tempo is editable before and after generating) and plays back in the browser through the studio's own synths. When you like a take, export it as whole-track or per-instrument MIDI, or as WAV/MP3 audio — the drum part uses General MIDI numbering, so it lands correctly on any drum plugin. There are step-by-step import guides for Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic Pro.
