Hip-Hop MIDI Generator

The hip-hop generator writes at a head-nod 90 BPM: a boom-bap-leaning kit, bass and keys that sit low in the register, and a melody that loops like a sample rather than developing like a song.

Roll a hip-hop track

Hip-Hop is included with the Pro and Studio plans; the free plan covers five genres. See pricing.

How the engine writes hip-hop

Harmony stays dark and compact, drums carry the personality, and the whole roll is built to be chopped — every part exports to its own MIDI track, so treating the output like crate material is the intended workflow.

From a roll to your DAW

A roll defaults to 90 BPM (every preset and tempo is editable before and after generating) and plays back in the browser through the studio's own synths. When you like a take, export it as whole-track or per-instrument MIDI, or as WAV/MP3 audio — the drum part uses General MIDI numbering, so it lands correctly on any drum plugin. There are step-by-step import guides for Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic Pro.
