How the engine writes funk
On top sit short, clipped chord stabs, a percussion lane beside the kit, and a melody that phrases like a horn section. Everything locks to a 108 BPM pocket that is tight rather than swung — the groove comes from the syncopation, not the shuffle.
From a roll to your DAW
A roll defaults to 108 BPM (every preset and tempo is editable before and after generating) and plays back in the browser through the studio's own synths. When you like a take, export it as whole-track or per-instrument MIDI, or as WAV/MP3 audio — the drum part uses General MIDI numbering, so it lands correctly on any drum plugin.
