Free Cubase MIDI generator — roll complete MIDI arrangements (melody, chords, bass, drums) in your browser and import them into Cubase. No sign-up.

The generator lives in the studio — roll full arrangements, edit every note, export MIDI, WAV or MP3.
MIDI Maker is a free online MIDI generator that produces complete arrangements — melody, chords, bassline, and drums — as standard MIDI files Cubase imports as ready-to-route MIDI tracks. Generate ideas in the browser, then finish them with Cubase's instruments and MIDI editors.
For a hands-on workflow, the studio's Live MIDI Out mode (Chrome/Edge) streams notes and MIDI clock to a virtual port Cubase reads as a regular MIDI input — record the generator live instead of importing files. Setup details are in the MIDI Out docs and the live MIDI sequencer guide. See the Live MIDI Out docs and the guide to using MIDI Maker as a live MIDI sequencer for the full walkthrough.
Yes — Cubase imports the .mid as MIDI tracks you can route to HALion Sonic, Retrologue, Padshop, or any VSTi. The drum part uses General MIDI drum numbers, so Groove Agent's GM-mapped kits play it correctly.
Yes — enable Live MIDI Out in the studio (Chrome or Edge) and point it at a virtual MIDI port (IAC Driver on macOS, loopMIDI on Windows). Cubase sees the port as a normal input, so a record-enabled MIDI or instrument track captures the generator in real time.
Yes — everything the generator writes is royalty-free with no attribution required. Free and Pro output is licensed for personal projects, and the Studio plan adds a commercial-use licence for releases, games, videos and client work.
The MIDI Maker studio rolls complete, editable arrangements — melody, chords, bass and drums — you can export to any DAW. Free, in your browser.
